Two drawings I have been working on. The one on the right is a commission for a friend I finished yesterday. The floating canvas underneath is what I picked up yesterday to start on a new art project. I can’t wait to start, here’s a hint: melting crayons is involved.
Two commissions I’m just about finished with. Just have some last touch ups and details to attend to.
I drew this for a friend. Her grandmother recently passed away and she wanted something to showcase at her wake.
Day 2: What’s your favorite animal? Use it as your inspiration today.
In this case, I used two of my favorite animals. I like owls and turtles. I used the feathers for the outline base of the key to represent the owl and the rest is based from a turtle. The entire rest of the key represents the turtles shell.
I started the
365 Creativity Journal Project
I decided to base it on the theme of keys. So, I thought I’d post my progress here.
Day 1: The first step is the hardest, so start small today and make something that fits in the palm of your hand using only the materials in your immediate environment.
I happened to be eating candy with friends today, so I made a key out of reese’s cups wrappers.
Besides photography I also draw. One of my many watercolor palettes, can you tell what colors I use most? The back of my door is where I usually hang most of my smaller pieces and it’s also my art wall where I place everything I happen to find interesting from books, magazines, anything really. My friend Elbonie even drew me a picture up there, it’s the bunny. I really love when my friends draw me things or find interesting things for me to put in my room, they know me so well :)
